This visit to the STIEGL brewery in Salzburg on the eve of CULTURE.DAY not only gave us an insight into the company’s long history and tradition – the brewery was founded back in 1492! – but were also able to visit the production facility and take a look into the future of the brewery. We learned from Head of Innovation Florian Halser how STIEGL adapts megatrends to its corporate strategy and uses them to develop new products, such as the first non-alcoholic lemonade “Stieglitz”. A keynote speech by trend researcher Marcel Aberle then dealt with the importance of images of the future and trend research, the complexity of megatrends, but also the necessity of breaking taboos and technological innovations in order to solve the challenges of the future together.
